PSR 500 Stuck on DSP Loader DSP Boot: F1.1

Turn Unit On
No Welcome Screen
Goes straight to

DSP Loader...
DSP Boot: F1.1
DSP SW Upgrade
Wait for PC/IF

Not sure what is up ??

At times unit turns on with no problem
When unit turns on with Welcome Screen
Press 3 this is the info

Vers - Key Exits
uP Appl VER:F1.8
DSP App VER:F1.4
DSP Voc Ver:F1.0

Prog with Win500 2.0.1 & 2.02

This is my p500 file name "BZ 12 APR 2011 CK CC.p500"

Extended Settings ALL set to Default

1st time I seen this Display was after upload to Scanner

This is a Intermittent problem
I have changed the p500 file name is see if this helps

Initialize scanner then reload file.

Usually you get a heap error if it's a file error that has been sent to the radio memory, but I would try going back to the last known Win500 data file and see if it continues.

You could also try re-initializing the radio: Easier to Read Pro-106/197/PSR500/600 Digital Scanner Manual

If it does continue, you could try re-installing the latest CPU then DSP firmware.

Erase Memory
ENTER if APPROVE
CLEAR to EXIT

Cleared Memory & Cleared ALL V-Scanner

Turned off then on I get this display

DSP Loader...
DSP Boot: F1.1
DSP SW Upgrade
Wait for PC/IF

DSPUpdater_PSR-500-600_U1.4.exe
&
CPUUpdater_PSR-500-600-BootF14_U1.8.exe

Still have problem Intermittent when I get it to turn on
with Welcome Screen scanner works

Need to return it ?? Only 2 weeks old.

You need to press 3 button in sequence

"While the "Welcome" message is displayed, press 0 PGM ENTER (in sequence).
This will place the scanner in its DSP update mode."

Turn Unit On "No Welcome Screen" Goes straight to

DSP Loader...
DSP Boot: F1.1
DSP SW Upgrade
Wait for PC/IF

When you turn unit on Display

DSP Loader...
DSP Boot: F1.1

Then will Displays
Welcome Screen
Unit will work !!

I have to keep turning the unit on & off

About 80% of the time will go to

DSP SW Upgrade
Wait for PC/IF

Returned unit today

Got to R&L Electronics
Was like when you go to the Doc and all your pains goes away.

At the store the scanner was working with no problems
Turn unit on then off

DSP Loader...
DSP Boot: F1.1

Welcome Screen
And the unit worked every time !!

We did this for around 15 mins........

"Scanner is working we do not see ANY problem
have to see a problem before we will replace it"

THEM we tried it one more time..... Boom there it is !!!

They replaced the unit
So now I have a new Scanner (Hope with no problems)
