PSR-500 using SAME weather alerts

Hey everyone,
Just wondering who is using the SAME feature available with the PSR-500? I want to use it but i am kind of confused on how to program it with WIN500. I understand how to put the number in but i dont know how to cancel things out and put things in.

Any help is apprecitated.

Press the select button (in the center of the up/down/left/right arrow), turn the entry to ON using the right arrow key, press down arrrow, press select again, press the 1 key, enter the number key you need, repeat the number 1 again until all six digits are entered, press done, press save, press exit. To delete the SAME number, Press the select button, select the entry using the right arrow key, press down arrrow, press select again, now press func+CL to delete the whole number string and repeat the above to enter your number.
