I want to record and map the RSSI values for a "Digital Trunked EDACS Radio System" in the 800 MHz band.
Questions:
1. Which Uniden radio scanner and software would allow me to use a GPS to record (Lat, Long) and the corresponding RSSI value for Control and Traffic Channels?
2. Can the software be configured for Indoor Mode? That is, in the absence of GPS (indoors), I should be able to use a pre configured map with (X,Y) coordinates to record RSSI values for the (X,Y) point on the Map.
Right now, I use the Agilent E6474A Drive Test Platform which allows me to do the tests presented in Questions 1 and 2 for GSM, UMTS, CDMA, LTE, etc. However, it has no scanning options for Public Safety technologies like EDACS.
