I would start by downloading the FLIPs for the Caribbean from the DoD website. I would also look at the VFR and IFR supplements to get a more up to date Miami ARTCC frequency list than the one we have in the database (which dates from 2004, and is likely very outdated).

It's something of a long shot due to the distance involved, but it's possible that you might have better luck putting a question like this on the Florida Milcom Yahoo group - it's the closest US state to you, and it's just possible you might be able to hear flights coming your way from there.

You can get links for both the DoD website and Florida Milcom from here Having a good antenna, up nice and high fed with good coax, is going to be key here. A duckie isn't going to cut it.

As an aside, I'd encourage setting up a Wiki article for PR, and let the users enter their frequencies there. When you're ready you can point the admins to the Wiki page and have them absorb the frequencies into the database in one fell swoop.

Hello hunter & Spiritwolf:

I heard the same in the west area of the Island. The identify themselves from control alfa, beta, to control zebra all I heard saying was:

control omega todo 10-35 at about 00:00 hours

Do any of you guys know what is that frequency that we are hearing? I asume is a security post in a military installation but I don't know. Can you tell me what it is?

Regards,
Suncountry7

Hello Huntrex

I do know that but I also know that there is a part of that base
is still on Military Hands. I used to work for the security contrator
that works there right now and I been told that there is a part that
have military personel and they are armed. They told me that is were
the submarines used to be. They also told me this military personel
will shoot to kill...But again who knows??? ;)

Flew Neptune's out of Roosy Roads in 67/68. Our patrols ranged from the lower Bahamas to Trinidad. Usually flew about 5 patrols a month each lasting about 12 hours. Ramey was also in business.

My Neptune squadron (VP-18) disestablished in the fall of 68 or I would have been there for two more years. Really enjoyed the tour.

142.900

Last night at freq 142.900 I heard the last part of a communication. They said "Have a good shift" in Spanish. I was in Aguadilla near to Raymey Base. This base is close but the Coast Guard and Home Land Security have helicopters there.

I Need Frequencies List for Puerto Rico.

Hello

I will also appreciate a list of all local gov frequencies used in Puerto Rico. Example Police, Airport, Local Fire Department, Emergency Management etc. for the Aguadilla, Mayaguez, Arecibo Sector.
