PVTA bus (spfld area)

Does anyone know if the PVTA bus company has radios and if so what freq?

PVTA does have radios in its buses. I believe the full sized buses are all UHF.
The "vans" I think are VHF and I'm not 110% positive, but I think they're contracted through Hulmes Transportation, but they still carry the PVTA insignia on each van.
From an old source 452.650 was one freq for PVTA. I don't know what it coincides with.
From the FCC website there are multiple freqs listed. Some are probably inputs. You'll have to sort through the info. With this link choose "by name" and type Pioneer Valley Transit Authority and you'll get what I'm talking about. License Search

452.8000 is part of the LTR for UMass Amherst
