We're updating our online forums and swapmeet, and not surprisingly, it turned out to be just a bit more complex than we had originally hoped. Since our forums have nearly 3 million posts and some 2 million private messages, it takes a while to convert them all to the new format. The upgrade script is running very well, however, its not breaking any speed records. Realisticly, it will be many hours before its done.
We're hoping to have the system back up and running tomorrow, Saturday the 18th. We're looking forward to a shiny new user interface and a bunch of new features for our wildly popular Ham Radio Forums. This includes all of our discussion groups as well as our Online Swapmeet.
All other QRZ features such as our callsign database, logbook, and practice tests will continue to be available during the this period. This includes our XML callsign lookup service which is running very smoothly.
