Howdy all,
I'm looking at a BC75XLT to use as a conventional scanner while out on the road, but have heard that some of the older models suffered from premature failure of the LCD display while they were still relatively new. I was also told that even though they are nearly identical radios, the 125AT uses a different display. So, before I "take the plunge" and purchase one, does anyone know if Uniden has addressed this problem, and was this issue confined to a specific batch or a specific run of serial numbers, like the early models of the -436HP?
