Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to configure dstar properly to be able to talk to friends on are usually on the N7IH and I'm having a hard time with this. I would like to understand what I'm doing wrong.

My setup: I have a 91AD handheld and a pi-star hotspot. Everything there works well, I can connect to reflectors with no problem.

So when I try to call them on their repeater, I set up the following on my radio: ( º represents a space)
UR: /N7IH º º B
RPT1: KK7xxx º B <-- My hotspot's RF interface
RPT2: KK7xxx º G <-- My hotspot's gateway interface
MY: KK7xxx <-- My callsign

I'm not getting through. I check on dstarusers and my transmission isn't registered and I don't see myself on the last heard web site either.

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks

I would do the UR: with no forward slash and 3 spaces to put the B in the 8th position. I'm really not sure if that will work. I use CQCQCQ in UR: for talk and switch to a channel with REF030CL in UR: to link then switch back to CQCQCQ to talk. I use a Zumspot and a ID51.
Hope that help.
Mike

P.S. Maybe the link to N7IH should be N7IH L with three spaces between H and L. I've never really tried to connect to a 'remote' repeater just reflectors. I'm assuming they have an internet connection. I don't think they have to have an internet connection, but that kind of defeats the purpose for a Dstar repeater.
