after mounting the SD card correctly, I would assume that it might be possible (YMMV) that if you created an .hpd file from from scratch and populated all the fields in the correct manner with all the relevant data...and then edited f_list.cfg to load that .hpd file, you might be able to load it into your SDS100. Quickly looking at it, the .hpe appears encrypted/encoded.

I'll have to try this later when I have time, but this might work.

If you have a linux machine and administrative privileges, you can install a VM host, install a windows guest, install Sentinel and then use that. That is what I am currently doing.

just missed the editing window. This idea didn't work, not as easy as I thought.

I wonder if Wine is installed if Sentinel will work or not? I think it will complain about the .net perhaps?

Sorry for the delay; I was out of town.
I run Linux (Ubuntu) on my computer, and what I do is run Windows 10 in Virtualbox. It runs Sentinal just fine.

.hpe files needs to be imported into Sentinel. Then you can copy the resulting .hpd files to the scanner. In Windows it's one Uniden/BCDx36HP folder under Documents where you copy the whole Favorite folder to the scanners BCDx36HP folder.

In the Document/BCDx36HP/Profile you will have a folder with your profile name, default are Preset, and copy the profile.cfg file to the same place in the scanners SD card to get all settings transfered.
