ARCXT: Quick Key Sort problem ARCXT PRO since latest update

I have BuTel ARC-XT PRO on a windows 11 PC. Since the latest update to Version: 2.4 Build 2, I'm having a problem with the browser. On the left panel when looking at the Systems column when I right click to, "Sort by Quick Key" it does sort, but then I lose the plus sign next to the system and cannot display any groups or frequencies anymore. All it shows is the folder of the system and when you click on it, nothing works. The plus sign and groups, sites seem to work on the trunked systems, but not anything conventional. This only seems to happen after I try to sort. Basically, it's making the browser un-usable. Everything worked great until this latest update. I previously had Version: 2.3 Build 2

Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem since the update?

Also: What is the new PLUS and MINUS boxes next to the word Browser at the top of the Systems column in BLUE? There's no instructions included with the update other than fixing a DMR Tier 3 problem with Radioreference. These two buttons are also new since this update.

Yes! I too have noticed this problem since the update.

The other issue I'm noticing is when I'm actively logging. After approximately 20 to 30 minutes, the log, although it appears to be working is actually Frozen and has stopped logging. I then have to close the program down and get a box that pops up that wants me to send a crash report. This has happened to me about five times now and it's very frustrating.

The last glitch I'm noticing on the browser window on the left is that I cannot sort the groups into the order I want to sort them into anymore with a drop and drag of the mouse. Although this is not a huge deal it would be nice to have things organized by quick key numerically.

Just my 2 cents towards a fix and a new revision of the program.

Wanting to leave things on a positive note rather than one of complaining, I am far happier using Arc XT Pro then I am using ProScan- just saying!

If I attempt to sort groups by quick key, it erases all of the groups.

I see the issue, no data is lost. When you sort by name you will see all your data.
+ en - are used to expand/collapse the systems tree.

I updated to the new build yesterday. I have it on an HP i3 processor laptop with windows 10 Pro, my radio programming computer. On my 996P2, I tried to put my first system as conventional and used 5 or 6 groups to separate my standard frequencies like police, fire, aircraft and others. The rest of the systems are P25, MotoTurbo, DMR, and NXDN. The scanner will not scan the conventional frequencies, it ignores and wouldn't even reflect the numbers I gave it, but does scan the trunking systems. No matter how I label or number the conventional system, it will not scan it. I did have a little bit of trouble downloading and installing the upgrade. My computers anti-viruses and windows 10 all warned me of possible trouble with the Butel Software when I downloaded it and installed it with difficulty. All stated that it would damage my computer if I installed it. I took a chance but it seems its OK.
What do you think? What could I possibly be doing wrong? I had no problem with the software before the update.

Thank you for the explanation of the PLUS, MINUS buttons. I see how that works now. I'm glad you are here and are now aware of the issues since the latest update. I hope you can fix these issues and release another update that addresses the problems. I have enjoyed your programs for years and they are my favorite to use. I appreciate your work and thank you for looking into this.

Noticing many, not all the Mototrbo systems are now showing as conventional.

Luckily I had a prior version installer 2.2 build 2, so I uninstalled the new one and installed the old one, works again.

While your at it, see about quickening sending to scanner as it has always been very slow. Freescan minus the mototrbo takes ~3 minutes, arc-xt ~42 minutes.
Some 2 1/2 years without an update and many issues now, hopefully these can be fixed soon.
