• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

That is why I suggest going to the system's page and clicking on the History Tab to show any changes that have been recently made.

Updating a system as large as this could cause several counties to change color on the Iowa page when in fact it could have been something as small as an addition of a TGID to the system.

Yes because none of that changed, thus why it never changed colors. There was only a site change.

As far as services this is a hugly vash unlicensed trunking system (ok blanket license, but still...) and anyone who is willing to rent a radio and pay the radio fee can be on the system so no particular service per site per se. Anyone and their brother can be on this system.
