The RNZI news is taken from our domestic "National" program and they use a different birdcall every morning at the 0700 and 0800 local news just before the time pips - sometimes there's a voiceover telling what the bird is - yours is obviously a Tui... like this one in my back garden getting the nectar from the flax.......
