i am realy new to this i have tried to scanned and i do not hear anything on it is the scanner just to old to hear police fire ems need help i purched on e bay from state live canada will this model the same for both need help is there a place for us beginers

That is a very nice scanner although older but still very useful.Do you have NOAA weather
station near you frequency 162.40,162.55,162,475 Ect..These are continous broadacast
You should hear something wheen you program that into the scanner..

I am having a little trouble getting what your question is. I believe you were maybe asking if the Pro2035 will cover the current police, fire and EMS? If it is conventional and in your area yes. I still have and use my 2035 everyday, it is one of the best scanners next my old 2006 I have ever bought over the years. Check the data base for your area and see what there is to listen to.
