I am trying to install the Anderson, South Carolina Police Department channel into my Radio Shack Pro-197 radio using the specs listed below. I would appreciate any help you may have to offer! :)

Project 25

Trunk System: Palmetto Project 25

Frequency: 853.1625 852.9625 852.6000 852.5750

Talk Group: 41019 or should I use "Wildcard"?

Talk Type: Group or Private (I do not know) help please!

I am using ARC500 application to input/upload my data into the scanner via USB Scanner/PC Interface Cable.

I appreciate any help you have to offer!

Is the talkgroup in the RR database?

To add a talkgroup that isn't in the database, you would have to click the Add button while viewing your list of talkgroups. And your setting for group or private can be set to group.

Then don't forget to link the talkgroup to the system you want to link it to. :)

I copied what the RR Database list but it is not downloadable like regular frequencies.

Palmetto (Project 25)
Project 25 Phase I Anderson PD uses the Palmetto P25 system for their primary communications, with VHF as a secondary system. Anderson FD uses the Palmetto P25 system as a secondary radio system (UHF is primary).
Palmetto 800
Motorola Type II SmartZone Anderson FD and PD have talkgroups assigned on the Palmetto 800 system.

Ok. For the Palmetto 800 System, which tower do you reside closest to?

Disregard that question. For the sake of testing this out, I programmed everything into scan list 1.

Download and upload to your scanner and tell me what it does!
