• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Congratulations to the Admins/Mods/Founder on the million member mark, hopefully many more to come. ;)

(I see the actual current count shows as almost 998K so, perhaps the full tally is representative of people that actually joined but might not be members any longer or inactive accounts?)

And thank you to W8RMH for pointing out this great accomplishment by our team!

We should have a million man march to all agencies that have blocked our hobby and get them back on our side. Just a thought. The majority of us are all on the same page with good intentions.

Now this would be a "movement" for the better. Anybody else have any other great ideas?

What about the criminal users who get arrested? Do they still even count as "registered users" any more? There has to be several hundred like that lol!
