That was their top of the line weather radio. I don't know, go to Home Depot and purchase 20 in of copper wire, not braided but the stiffer wire, they custom cut it and it won't cost you anything. Attach it to whatever is left of the antenna. It was probably a rotating rocking antenna so if you have to remove the screw and you'll just be left with a screw hole, attach it there.

An easy fix for those telescopic antennas is to remove the small screw at the base. Take that antenna to an electronics store, Goodwill/Salvation Army store and look for a cheap am/fm radio that has a similar whip. They are often the same size and you can easily swap it out. I used to save the old telescopic antennas when I'd see them getting tossed just for this reason.

any piece of metal receives radio waves.
it is just that some do a little better when they are cut to an exact size and you usually need expensive equipment to tell the difference.
just because you can measure it, does not mean you can hear it.
just wait until you hear about using a paper clip for 800Mhz.

Looks like the radio has a BNC type antenna connector on the rear.

That antenna would work, but you'd need to purchase an adapter. The included adapters are not BNC.

Or, you could just buy this:
An antenna and a spare, has the BNC connector on it.
I found this one also would This antenna do good as well The other one you provided me is out of stock if Anyone knows Please let me know
