i am in baltimore city and i have a pro 96 trunk tracker i have had it for like 6 years the problem is the police and fire dept and other city services have upgraded there radios well i turned it on my scanner one day and i could not pick any thing up so i sent it to be upgraded in new york and it was the same as it was when i sent it away the v scan folder is useless now i had to manually put the frq in it picks up police and fire now put it jumps to channel to channel is there an up grade for this our should
i buy a new scanner

also go to Starsoft website & get th win96 & . YOU will have to use the Custom trunking tables most likely?

I would go to this thread in the forum that ermin mentioned - and read this wiki article which has a pic with all the settings necessary to get started for Win96. I would expect ARC96 to be similar...

It is far from a perfect solution, but several folks have used these settings with some success. The Unidens don't seem to handle this system too well, unfortunately. There's been no word about special settings with Home Patrol, especially with the new upgrade...
