Railroad Frequencies

First question - can anyone verify that the frequencies listed in the db for railroads under Arkansas [link] are correct? It hasn't really had any changes since 2015 (the edit date shows Nov. 2017 but it was simply a main category change or something). Of course, for RRs that is kind of normal since they usually stick with the same channels but just wondering.

Specifically interested in the ones in north central and north east Arkansas.

I wasn't sure how many railfans there were in this group, if any. I didn't figure it'd hurt to ask. I'm not a big railfan but do like to listen in some when traveling, especially if the highway parallels a track and trains can be seen.

I've not looked at the database lately, but the below should be fairly current for NE and N Central AR:

M&NA (Arkansas line to Newport, old Mopac Cotter Sub) is on 160.635

UP in the Little Rock 'Metro" area is on 160.74 and 160.935.

UP from around Jacksonville to Popular Bluff on the Hoxie Sub (Old MoPac) is on 160.875

UP from Malden, MO to Pine Bluff on the Jonesboro Sub, Brinkley to West Memphis on the Brinkley Sub and Jonesboro Jct to Memphis on the Wynne Sub (old Cotton Belt) is on 160.320

UP from Bald Knob to Memphis on Memphis Sub (Old Mopac) is on 160.410

BNSF from Thayer, MO to Madlock on the Thayer Sub (old Frisco) is on 161.415. BNSF from Madlock to Memphis is on 161.160.

BNSF from Sikeston, MO to Turrell, AR on the River Sub (old Frisco) is on 161.385. From Turrell to Memphis on 161.160

And UP has a ton of stuff in the Little Rock yard area, not sure what all frequencies are still used. About all the UP mobile tel entries are not any good, haven't heard anything on those channels for years, Guess UP has gone to cell phones for MOW crews. BNSF still uses some mobile tel, but not sure if the frequencies have changed from what may be in the database, they've gone to a color code naming system for their mobile tel instead of using the AAR channel numbers.

All those frequencies in the database are all good. Little Rock & Western (LRWN) is the only line in Arkansas that is using NXDN on its 160.965 repeater at Perry. It's been that way for several years. Genessee & Wyoming owns LRWN, Kiamichi, Arkansas Midland, Missouri & Northern Arkansas, the Prescott & Northwestern Railroad (PNW), the Warren & Saline River Railroad (WSR), and the two Arkansas Midland transload operations, the rest of the frequencies on these lines are open narrowband analog & clear, The G&W frequencies can also be heard in North Little Rock, in their operations, and in interchange with UP & BNSF @ NLR. Also, The UP PBX channels are used for Remote Control Locomotive Operating Zones in NLR, and for MOW Gangs that operate thru Arkansas.
