Ramsey Co. Sheriff Dispatch

I used to have a list of the unit #'s used for the squads for the Ramsey County suburbs?. I have never really monitored the RCSO dispatch talkgroups but a buddy of mine just moved to Shoreview. Since most cities in Ramsey Co contract with the Sheriff for LE services, I am wondering how they identify each city.

It’s been awhile since I have monitored Ramsey Co, but the basic numbering is as follows. Others may have more specifics regarding shifts, supervisors, CSOs, etc.

2xxx - Sheriff
3xxx - N St Paul
4xxx - Maplewood
5xxx - Roseville
69xx - Falcon Heights contract (RCSO)
7xxx - Mounds View
8xxx - New Brighton
9xxx - White Bear Lake

Thanks for that. When I get some time I will start to monitor more closely. I do know 2400 is Sheriff Fletcher's squad #.

or are they all dispatched through Ramsey county?

They are now all dispatched through Ramsey County, but maintain their own car-car talkgroups for individual departments.
