Rebroadcast?

I have heard talk about rebroadcasting being illegal, and it makes me wonder a few things.

1. wouldn't the live feeds here on RR be considered Rebroadcasting?

2. and i like to listen to the D.C police feed, would it be illegal to hook a radio to my computer to rebroadcast the live feed over FRS to my scanner?

It may, or may not be. It's not settled law.

If you do, and you're ordered to stop, your question isn't 'is it legal', it's 'Am I willing to spend many, many dollars on a lawyer, and time in court, to find out, or do I stop when told?'
