SDS100/SDS200: Reception Issues

Hi. Im Having Recption Issues where the RSSI Jumps on sites. My System is a Michigan's Public Saftey Communications Systems (MPSCS). A Phase II System. Filters are off for every Site.

My Sites
  1. Adams Park: -104 to -105 dBm
  2. Featherstone: -103 to -111 dBm
  3. Jones: -89 to -92 dBm
Im using a Ramtronx 820-S as antenna

RSSI, by the very nature of RF, is going to fluctuate.
You do have what shows as a weak signal on a couple of those sites.

Maybe think about a better (outside and/or elevated) antenna?

Are you in Oakland County, MI? It's the only place in Michigan that I'm aware of that are using Phase II. If so, they were just recently added to MPSCS. That being the case they may not have a sufficient number of antenna towers to provide adequate reliable coverage. Do you by chance live anywhere near Oakland's gigantic mountain of landfill trash?

Those 3 sites are in southwestern Michigan. The system is P2 capable, but there's no P2 in this part of the state yet.
