Hi All. Driving down to AZ from the Bay Area soon. I usually just hang out on 146.52 but figured I'd try new things this time. I looked at RFinder and RepeaterBook on my RT software but the import was extensive. Can anyone recommend some good (monitored, chatty) repeaters on I-5, I-210 and I-10? Save for W6HAM which is always interesting.

W6NUT is by far the most interesting, amusing, and exhibits the most freedom. Coverage from about I5/134 out to Ontario ish.

The "chattiness" can vary, but you generally won't be left hanging.

The Papa System is great for wide area coverage. Linked FM, DMR, D-Star, and P25. If you're looking for interesting, it might not be interesting in that regard, but good people and good conversation.
