I have read through the BCT15x manual and it states the way to get each channel in a system to record, is:
at the system level...
"Set Record enables the REC jack for marked channels, no channels, or all channels in the system. The default setting is off."
"All Channel - The scanner sends the audio for all channels in the system to the REC jack, regardless of the channel’s record option setting.
Marked Channel - The scanner only sends the audio for channels that have the record option turned on to the REC jack.
Off - The scanner does not send any audio from any channel in the system to the REC jack, even if the record option is turned on for a channel."
So I assumed that you just select "All Channel" for the system and you wouldn't have to go to each channel and check the "Record" box to get it to record.
I programmed 2000 channels and selected "All Channel" in the respective Systems. Recording is triggered but there is no audio being recorded. I also don't have "Live" audio from the laptop where the sound card is connected to. I do, however, get audio, both recorded and live, from other channels where the "Record" box is checked .
Am I mis-interpreting the above instructions?
