I'd never explored this before, but as I happen to live in Buchanan, I was caught in a traffic jam on Red Bud Trail this morning, due to the opening of this facility, which is about two miles north of town. After I got home I decided to run a search and see if there was any pertinent radio traffic, and lo & behold, I stumbled across three repeaterized frequencies that I could receive from where I'm at (about a mile southwest from Front & Red Bud). The track is busy today and Sunday, as it must be the season opening. So check out 461.6375 (seems to be the main freq), 462.2375, and 462.4125. There was mention of a "Channel 9," which leads me to believe there must be a lot more to their system, but except for these three, any others are probably simplex non-repeaterized. Also, there was some mention of some sort of use of FM 88.5 Mhz. Is there a low-power race broadcast to the crowds there?

Anyone with any info, please post!

I did some scanning and found 462.2125 last year. Not sure if its active this year. (had a few others but I was silly and forgot to write them down.)

As to why its so busy is that its a AMA Pro National weekend. Found the tracks website a while back, ahh there it is buried in my bookmarks.
