Unitrunker shows lots of activity on TG 17680 (Redwood City PD primary). It would appear that the previous difficulties encountered with the system have been resolved.

I’m glad to hear that. Honestly, the taxpayers in San Mateo County should be livid at the cost of this system and miniscule users.
Besides the dogcatchers, sheriff and EMS, it is a very costly burden to the taxpayers.

Whipsaw! RCPD back on conventional
On Tuesday I was monitoring the 488.9875 control channel and RCPD was active. As of today, RCPD is back on 488.7875 conventional. I can only imagine how confusing this must be to the cop on the beat!

That's the South Zone site. Makes sense. I do not monitor the South site, it has a dead carrier on one of the frequncies. I'm currently monitroing the North Zone, which may not allow RC tag group calls.
