Hi all,
I am looking for a simple way to monitor the Quantar radios 4 radios/site.
What I need is a diagnosis SW which is able to tell me if any radio is disabled or enabled, talkgroup activities and any intermittent, interference issue.
MOT Site Lens System Management Terminal seems to overkill for what I need.
Do I need a RF Modem link to monitor from home with laptop?
What type of scanner, SW is ideal for this type of monitoring?.
I do have IC-R20 portable scanner with CS-R20 Clone software, could it tell me if any channel is disabled?
Thank so much for your help

You want to monitor a Motorola trunking system's health from your home? Does it use 3600 bps control channels? Can you RX the site(s) from home? If so, just use TRUNK88. Any tapped scanner will work.

Do you mean that we need an RFmodem hooked into the MTC-3600 at each repeater site?
I do not receive radio signals ( 850MHz) at home ( 10km away) but with VHF/UHF RF modem at each site you think it will work?
trunk88 S/W work with scanner that is receive 850 MHz signals band I guess
Please help

Sorry for mistake. We do not have MTC-3600. We have Smartwork controller T5198A at each repeater site.
