With some of the small IC SD "fishing expeditions" I do from time to time, interesting things can show up.
Renfrew County appears to have some new digital fire repeaters, 4k NXDN, licence status "granted". They appear to be in and around Killaloe area, Round Lake etc.

162.765
162.810
163.125
163.860

I'll skip repeater inputs in the 167/168 range.

These are unconfirmed, may not be in use yet; don't know if these are trunked or conventional; probably the latter but might turn out to be D type (distributed) trunking. Someone might want to give a listen.

So, does the "noise" sound the same as what's on 422.3500?

If this is similar to MRC de Papineau (Que.) system, control channel switches to voice when required.

In TAFL, can look at CZT678 and CZT679 for starts. I'm seeing channels paired (162.765 and 163.125; 162.810 and 163.860).

So....This is what I've gathered so far.

Killaloe Hagarty Richards Twp. has the following:

7 Mobiles- Kenwood NX 700
22 Portables -Kenwood Nexedge NX-200
Motorola CDM-1250 - as there base radios.

Recieve frequencies -168.1050, 168.8400,167.7600
Transmit frequencies - 167.2350, 168.1050, 168.8400,167.7600

These also are associated with this as well - 163.1250, 163.8600, 162.7650, 162.8100 I think these might actually be the recieve frequencies the others mentioned I think might be the transmit.

[/FONT] I don't know how accurate the frequencies are but it came from the following:

http://www.countyofrenfrew.on.ca/_documents/2016/Operations/Minutes/April11-16-OperationsMinutes.pdf

It appears they are on an Nexedge sytem. So if somone would like to update the database, they could do so with that info. It's all I have on this for now.
