Is there any software that is compatible with the baseband recordings made by SDRTrunk or is there some trick to converting them to play with other SDR programs? From what I can tell SDRTrunk records at a sample rate of 50,000, while most other programs expect 48,000. This seems to be enough that they are not compatible and recordings made with SDRTrunk will only playback on SDRTrunk.
I am open to the possibility that user error could be involved.

You can remount baseband sdrtrunk recordings in the tuners tab using the 'Recording Tuner' button. It'll loop playback simulating a tuner.

I make 10 MHz sample rate (4GB max size) tuner recordings everywhere I go (travel alot for work) and then store them on a 4TB usb drive as a sample library. I keep an airspy R2 and mobile antenna in my laptop backpack, but you can make tuner baseband recordings from any of the supported tuners.

Hi Denny,
Thanks for your reply.
I have actually made use of the playback recording tuners tab for baseband recordings in sdrtunk but want to run them through dsd-fme for example but they reject them. I wanted to see some extra information from other programs. Does the sample rate issue preventing them from playing your baseband files make sense?

There's a chance that some of those decoders only accept 48 kHz sample rate because that can be evenly decimated by x10 to a 4800 baud symbol rate (most digital protocols) or decimated by x6 to get an 8 kHz demodulated audio rate.

since the sdrtrunk baseband recording is a WAV file, you might try an audio resampling tool to convert it from 50 kHz to 48 kHz, but that may introduce noise/artifacts.
