On the radio, you can listen to the 'buffer' recording (the one who's length you set in settings in Profile / Miscellaneous).

You cannot listen on the radio to the actual recordings. You have to mount the radio and pull them from the SD card and play on PC.

Sure you can. Replay recordings is under the settings menu. Now you can't play them with Sentinel thru the scanner.

@dave3825 post is still the best way to listen to recordings though as it gives you way more info then the scanner can.

Yep, that's how I review my recordings. If I find something of interest, then I'll transfer them to a folder on one of the hard drives but it's rare I even do that unless I'm researching a new system or something.
If I need more info, then I'll use the Universal Scanner Audio program that user @deim wrote. It works well for pulling metadata out of the audio files that would otherwise not be displayed when listening through the scanner.

The SDS models are kinda weird as they use a somewhat cryptic method of folder naming for user recordings unlike the x36HP models that simply use the date and time format for audio file recording folder names.
At least the SDS models display the folder names in an easy readable date and time format when viewing the audio files via the scanner.
I never really understood why Uniden changed the audio folder naming method used in the SDS models.
I never really looked at the names very hard but I assume the folder names may just be the date and maybe the time but in a Hex format instead of something you can easily read when looking at the audio folders outside of the scanner.

The original question, was to review/listen to recording using Sentinel. (the answer is no) If I need to do anything with the radio (other tan connect it to the computer), then it isn't Sentinel that is doing the review/listening. That said, I really do thank all those that have replied. Good refresher.
