Don't let that cb become a rocket if you have to hit the brakes!
Otherwise nice mobile!

CB is hooked into dash vent, does not move at all. It's T- 20 min to launch. Have a great weekend everyone.

What app is running on your phone???

Setup looks nice! I was thinking the same thing about the CB...based on what you said I assume it is attached so well that even in a jarring accident it wouldn't come lose and become a projectile...

Are you using a paint roller screen to hook into the vent and hold the CB in place? If so nice hack and brilliant idea! If not what is that?

Cheers,
Matt

Back Home

All electronic toys worked great, the Uniden GPS worked perfectly & did it's thing. Should have got one sooner, I highly recommend it for trips. App on phone is Escort Live, works with the radar detector & will send reports of radar-laser-cops from database to phone along your route. CB antenna is a K-40, CB is a Cobra 29 LX. It may be a paint roller screen??? but I went thru Lowe's looking for an item that would work & grabbed it from an isle??? All items were removed in minutes & stored out of sight, even my wife was impressed at how all of this was engineered & functioned. My only worry was that if a cop saw my vehicle & felt my dash was to cluttered we could have trouble but with all the stuff being black it had a very stealth appearance from the front. Here are some more photo's of my creations & thanks to all for the interest.
Later Wally

I dig it. Even though I'm an LEO. IMO, more gadgets the better...I just feel ashamed trying to justify them all...

This is a very nice set-up! That's a neat idea for holding the twin Unidens. Now I've got to ask if you have external antennas mounted on the vehicle? Would like to see pics of them if possible. Thanks for showing us the photos.
