Does anyone have the schematics for the PRO 90? Mine unit of several years won't charge up the batt pack.(Have new one w/residual charge that works unit fine). Wall block powers a Pro60 just fine so it's not the AC/DC adapter.
While beginning to rig a bypass, I found a couple of components fried in the Q5 area of the pc board. Not familiar enough w/the insides of this one to know what the RA/CM component or the D1803: 5 70 component is but there is an obvious "ground zero" char around the RA/CM fried component (visible on the reverse side of the PC board as well. Not so w/the D1803 component.
These latter items must have something to do w/ the units ability to use the AC/DC power adapter (bypassing the battery circiut) as it worked fine until recently (mounted in car using pwr port).
The local areas are still a ways away from digital APCO etc so I'd like to continue to use this unit.
Suggestions, work arounds? The simpler the better!
