Folks I have quick question. What I want to do is program UHF/VHF repeaters in the 2000. RT systems sends you a cable but my question is this. Since I already have a RS-63 cable connected to the rig from my PC for rig control can I use that cable or set up with RT systems software to program my radio? Thank you very much in advance gentlemen....and ladies!!!

'Some' RT programming cables have a chip in them that the software must' see' or the s/w will not work.

Best to go on RT Systems website and ask there.

Thank you sir. I know this sounds stupid but the reason I'm asking is because my rig is a few feet from my computer. Worse case I'll have to move something or borrow a laptop to do this. I will check their website!
