Hello folks,
I would like to merge three RT Systems .csv files into one programmer file for each of my Yaesu FT7900R, FTM300, & VX-7R. I'm trying to send data to the radio(s), but when I try to send separate files, it ends up clearing out previous files...i.e send County #1 file to radio, then send County #2 to radio, turn off radio, check freqs., only County #2 took. I'm able to upload files directly from RR, but cand seem to get them to merge with my amature freq. file. Can someone assist?
Thank you!!

I will try. your situation sounds similar to what I went thru with a whistler 1065.
It sounds like the radios have "dynamic" memory. The solution was to send everything
at once instead of one at a time. The csv file should be usable by most radios that
are programmable. save everything you have first in case you have to go backwards.
put it all in one file and try it. atleast i can say it worked for me.

Thanks for the reply. I came up with a work-around. I had to copy & paste data from each of the tabed sheets, into the first/main tab. It worked. I did that for each of the radios. Kinda old fashioned, but it worked. Seems when you send files to the radio(s) it only takes data from the active page/tab, not the intire file.

It might vary with the new radios, but the transfer was typically implemented using the built-in clone function of connecting two radios by cable in a master / slave configuration. The RTS software on the PC a master or slave "radio" depending on transfer direction.

Your write to radio seems to be outside of using RTS which is outside of my use experience.

You got it to work... Always the goal without regard to how you get there. :)
