RTLEEPROM Disable HDIR

I want to disable my NooElec Smart SDR Infrared feature using RTLEEPROM how do I do this? Will someone please share a screenshot of RTLEEPROM disabling the infrared feature? I can match it up and see if it works hoping not to brick it.

Reason: To stop Windows 7 from its "unable to install device" nag. HDIR isn't needed for SDR operation as it is only a remote control feature for DAB/DVB-T TV reception (channel changer).

It's right there in the help file, which you can call up with rtl_eeprom -h

I chickened out. Ill wear my chicken suit. reddit rtl-sdr had complaints of people bricking it using rtl_eeprom and I am at the same level as them. I am ordering a new set from Nooelec to keep a fresh set available.

Yup, beyond just changing the s/n - they brick real easy I wish I had worn my chicken suite lol
