What is the best way to run wires and coax ? Wires will be directly from the battery. Is there a place on the fire wall or under the driver side mat?

Thanks

Not sure about the current gen F510, but on the 12th gen F150s there is a big grommet on the driver's side of the firewall with a nipple that can be cut off and power/coax fed thru there:

Post back with pics when it's done! Of all the trucks I've owned, my F150 is one of the easier vehicles to install accessories in. You shouldn't have any trouble getting the power and coax up into the cabin.

I think all the F-150s out there have this big grommet which is great for CB, ham, car stereo people and wow let me tell you how easy it was to run wires. Got to love it.

I don't know if you ever found an answer, but I typically use a grommet behind the passenger side fender liner (behind front wheel). It goes into the vehicle body behind the fuse box (but you don't have to remove it). I found it referenced in one of the Explorer upfit guides.

There's a solid ground point there as well.
