• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

This WHOLE Russia BS is a scam by those that want to overturn the election. A conspiracy to exonerate Hillary Clinton and if she lost a coup attempt to defraud the FISA court in order to frame and depose her lawfully elected opponent. Clapper, Brennan, Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page, Rice, Powers, Lynch, Yates, Clinton, Abedin, Rosestein, and Obama, all need to go to prison.

What about the meeting taken with Russians who promised to deliver dirt on the Clinton campaign? You know, the one Jr. admitted to.

That, by itself, takes the "Russia thing" out of the realm of bs, and into reality. It shows intent, and established connections with Russians who intended to influence the election.

The fact of the meeting provided sufficient cause to investigate further.

The meeting happened. It's a fact. So, either you people are operating completely devoid of fact, or you recognize the existence of the fact, and it simply doesn't matter in your version of reality.

You assume that what Jr did or might have done during the election, dad is always present, involved and guilty? So that means if I do something illegal, you are as guilty as me because we both associate on RR?

Really? Don't be stupid.

A father/son relationship working together within a political campaign is nothing like a vague association on a web forum.

The left simply can't accept the outcome of the election and is presently engaged in a criminal resistance to the policies and agenda of the current President of the United States. The only crimes and misbehavior, save a few process crimes unrelated to Trump or his campaign, have been committed by the government. The en mass resignations and reassignments in the DOJ and the FBI presently underway testify to that fact. This is only the beginning.

Since when has exercise of first amendment rights been criminalized? Should we criminalize second amendment rights, too?

I didn't think so. Don't be stupid. Protesting a president you don't like is one of the fundamental things that makes America great.

The only crimes and misbehavior, save a few process crimes unrelated to Trump or his campaign, have been committed by the government.
The minute Trump was sworn in, he violated part of the U.S. Constitution, known as the emoluments clause.

He was just warming up.

save a few process crimes
Oh, do elaborate on this.

First it was the question of what's he hiding in his tax returns
Quickly followed by the cries of racism and misogyny
Then the emoluments clause
After that it was the 25th Amendment
Next it was collusion
And obstruction
Before switching to money laundering and bank fraud
Followed by pay offs
Until currently holding on to new hope with the crime fraud exception.

It is also insightful to understand that when one cannot settle on "THE REASON" for their doing something, and instead continues to try to establish an ever-changing story as the basis of their motivation, such story is usually suspect in its truthfulness and can be discarded with impunity.

So to ask you the same question you pose; IS the only thing at issue here criminal conduct? Or is there a political underpinning to the ever changing hue and cry?

There are separate issues here. First, there is the potential criminal actions of the president. There is ample evidence to arouse suspicion and justify investigations. And the story isn't merely"changing". It's evolving as new facts become known.

The politics is separate from that. His politics and social policy is abhorrent to many many people.

Yes, it's interesting that his politics are abhorrent to the same people that are concerned about his possible criminal actions.

Make of that whatever you want. My take is that those who like his politics have taken a Machiavellian view, and are okay with whatever Trump wants to do to achieve his goals, whether it's illegal, or immoral, or not. They (you) don't care because he's doing what you want him to do.

To date no evidence of criminal behavior has been connected to Trump or his campaign. The only thing being ignored by Mueller is the criminal behavior in the government and the known criminality of Hillary Clinton, her campaign, the DNC, and the Obama administration. But rest assured, the Inspector General is paying attention.

It just keeps getting better.

[T]he Deputy Attorney General acting for the recused Attorney General has rejected the history and integrity of the DOJ, and instead licensed a Special Counsel who for all practical political purposes cannot be fired, to indict a case that has absolutely nothing to do with any links or coordination between any candidate and the Russian Government. The reason is obvious, and is political: to justify his own existence the Special Counsel has to indict a Russian – any Russian.
