I don't know if this belongs in the military sub-forum, but it is about armed conflict so that's why I chose this sub-forum.

This is one of the nastiest scariest things I have ever personally heard on the HF-bands:

Russia vs Ukraine conflict - Creepy psychological radio-terror in the 'midnight-hour'.

This is a loop of an 'evil laughing clown', mixed with some eerie whispering taunts and other sinister stuff, that was received coming through the airwaves on Friday the 29th of January 2020.

It was broadcast on 3731 kHz (In the HAM 80 meter band) and received in Denmark.

It is the same broadcaster as the one in this video (Which was recorded in the HAM 40 meter band earlier. The broadcaster cycled between several frequencies in both the 40 meter and 80 meter band and played the same loops several times on both bands):

That’s freaky. When I was in desert storm, picked up a radio station yacking about how Americans were going to die. Psychological warfare crap..

Shortwave....oh brother... they must think the ukrainians are cave men....(spoken as a card carrying member myself)

hopefully someone gave the ukrainians the broadcast schedule. or at least a link where it was streaming....

russians..tisk tisk... you would have thought by now they would have seen that the SMART MONEY is spent on analytics for targeted ads. everyone knows people are scared by teh interwebs and it's ability to vanquish ones cognitive ability...

who ever heard of someone going stupid cuz of shortwave radio?
