Saber Belt Clip

Take the battery off...there is a small square hole in the bottom of the radio. Get a flat screwdriver that fits the hole and push in and up in the belt clip tab. That will free the belt clip from the radio. It's a royal pain to take off.

Just loosen the two spanner nuts on the battery plate and the belt clip can be removed. It's a lot easier than pushing the tab with a screw driver which can be done, but as stated above, it's a pain..

how do i loosen the spanner nuts? i tried a flat head, but nothing, and plus it doesnt fit............

You either have to have a spanner tool or a modified screw driver that has the middle "dremeled" out to match the size of the nut that needs loosened/tightened.

Obviously you'd need to use a flathead that fits. Jeez.

And for the spanner nuts, I used to use the tips of needlenose pliers before I got the proper tool.
