I may be able to make it. have some campaign things being scheduled that day. If we meet early ( 10:00am) like last time I should be free. Hopefully we can drum up more ppl to join in. Its great to have this hobby becoming more a group effort. Plus when rebanding happens we all need to work together to get set up again.

I have no idea what that is, but I will be there to find out. Gary, I hope this new toy does NOT require its own antenna. That car of yours cannot support another one. <*chuckle*>

I'll be there, scanner in tow. Maybe someone there can give me some good hands-on tips. I've come a long way with this PRO-93 in the last month, but still feel like a novice. I'll soon be in the market for a new one so if anyone else brings their gadget I'd love to see them.

Okay, now I am confused

First gldavis says 10:00 am at the West Valley City Park (4400 West 35th South where we met last time), and now bneilson is saying 9:00 am at Sugarhouse Park.

Apparently we all agree that Saturday the 18th is a good day. So now the question...

Where and what time is it gonna be...for sure?

I prefer 10:00 am at WVC Park as suggested in the very first post. Easy to find and hardly any "outsiders" wondering what dark and nefarious things we might be plotting with all the radio equipment around.

10:00 am is better for me. I am game for anywhere, however Glalu has a point about the WVC being a bit less people around.

I hope everyone made it. I am sorry I was not there. I fell back asleep after the implosion. I would like to here who all was there, and how things went.

Missed Ya!

Actually, you didn't miss too much. There was me, Gary, and Rolfman and that was it. When we got there we couldn't even use the covered facilities because they had what appeared to be family reunions or maybe birthday parties at all of them. I figured you got hung up in traffic or something.

Gary showed us some toys he has and Rolfman showed how easy it was for him to install a tap into his scanner. Not much else so you didn't really miss anything. We didn't even set up anywhere because all the covered tables were taken and it was threatening to rain.

Can't believe you went back to sleep. That is supposed to be my excuse when I need one.
