I recently purchased a Sangean CL-100 Weather Radio .. and have questions.
First .. I received the "Required Weekly Test" alert as expected, but the transmission lasted for over an hour and the Advisory light didn't shut off. Is this normal ?
Also .. the manual seems to be a little flaky. I am interested in the difference between the Voice and Siren alert modes ?
According to the manual for Voice Alert Mode .. An alert tone sounds for 10 seconds .. but for my weekly test .. I didn't hear any tone.
And for Siren Mode .. An alert tone sounds for 4 minutes. Like are they serious ... 4 minutes ?
That is it for now .. I don't know if I will have other issues, but so far I am pretty happy with the CL-100
