I thought I had this figured out awhile back but once again I can't save (and label) my V-Folders to the computer.
Does anyone else run into this problem?

You can save your configuration which includes V-folders and all settings, but you can't save individual V-Folders

For me, when I choose File / Save Current Configuration to Archive, it offers to save the currently loaded V-Scanner...

I used to be able to save them like this, and note the zipped files toward the bottom are labeled.
Odd that when I didn't label them they were not zipped.
I'm just trying to get my main 21 files saved and backed up on another computer.

Very interesting. I would say that if you're not seeing the menu item like this...

...something got corrupt in the program. The software can be uninstalled and reinstalled pretty easily and it should link to your data files again, but I'd back up the %userprofile%\Documents\TRX-1 folder in case something goes wrong. If you don't want to deal with that you can select all files inside any one of those CDAT_VS.### folders and right-click / Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder and you'll get an archive just like the software does from the menu, but it's not automatic and you need to restore manually too.

That is correct, it saves all the information currently loaded in EZ Scan, meaning if V-folder 003 is loaded it saves that info along with all settings associated with it. However, if you restore from archive it's going to load that folder, but also going to have the info for the other V-Folders so you can access them.

When you say ALL the information, I thought it it just archived the one CDAT folder that is on screen.
I will also try jnlannon's tip tomorrow.
Thanks for the replies.

It saves all info, when you restore it will load the V-Folder open when you archived, but it will also continue to give you access to other V-Folders. it does not exclude them. I used to use this feature to swap updates to my scanlists and trunked systems between my TRX-1 and PRO-668 (Whistler mod).
