scan list problems

I have finaly programmed my first functioning scan list but when I go to program a new scan #2 the frequences from scan #1 are there if I delete them from scan list #2 it also deletes them from scan list #1.

There is a difference between deleting an de-affiliating. Delting removes the talkgroup, or frequency, from the radio.

Removing a talkgroup, or a frequency, from a scan list is not deleting.

It is a terminology thing.

I am assuming the scanner in question is a Pro-106 or 197.

Yes in is a pro-106 I did a factory default to clear all the frequencies from the list. Reprogrammed a talk group
into scan list #1. When I went to program a talk group into scan list #2 , scan list #1 was in scan list #2 and all the other scan list. What have I done. Help...
