scanner adapter

I know they make adapters that let you use your car antenna as a scanner antenna. But was wondering if made an adapter that would let you use scanner antenna as a car antenna as well as scanner. Thanks to anyone that can help

Only onIy types I have seen was a AM-FM Scanner Adapter for about $15.00. You might try Ham Radio Outlet or search for like shops that have connectors/adapters. Likely you would get poor AM reception and marginal FM unless you have a good quality wide-band antenna...

I'm not sure if they will work on digital scanners BUT a simple splitter will work for regular analog scanners and radio. I've used em before when I wanted to keep the monitoring lowkey.

Antennas work the same weather digital or analog. They are tuned to the frequency. A scanner antenna would not work very well for AM or FM broadcast.
