My Scanner was working before until I accidentally dropped it on the floor. It use to work for a little then it wouldn't work and now I bought new batteries to see if it works and when I push to turn it out I don't hear anything. I need some help.

If you dropped it, it is unlikely anyone other than a repair person can do much to help. If it is an older GRE or RS model, you may have trouble finding someone to fix it. Any Whistler or current Uniden will need to go to the factory or an authorized repair service.

Yes. Buy a new one.

The cost of a new one will be MUCH less than what Uniden or Whistler or most anyone else would charge to repair it.

That unit is a $25-$40 scanner at best on the used market.

Buccosfan116-I would suggest replacing the dropped BC-75XLT with a Uniden Bearcat BCAT-125 as it has many more features and comes with a cord to hook up to your computer to charge the supplied batteries plus has alpha tagging/ctcss/dcs, ect.
