Hi I am trying to configure my scanner for MARCS I would like to get all of the fire and Ems tagroups. But there are a lot and I have not been successful for Montgomery county. My biggest problem is that I use macOS and Linux exclusively.. I’ve been trying to find software for Mac. If anyone knows of a program it would be greatly appreciated. Or if someone offers services in the area. My scanner is a uniden bcd-396t.

Thank you

I feel your pain, being a Mac (and occasional Linux) user myself.

Unfortunately, there is no such beast for the Mac; your only real option is to run Windows in a virtual machine such as VMWare Fusion, Parallels or Virtual Box.

Having used it for years I'm personally partial to VMWare Fusion, but Virtual Box is apparently an excellent option and is free; the only thing you need for any of the virtualization options is a licensed copy of Windows.

If you're adept with Wine you could possibly try and make the software work that way, but I haven't heard too many success stories for our kind of software.
