I have a Uniden BC246T and currently have been using ARC246T software.
Is there any Scanner software thats similar that will run on Ubuntu Linux.

Thanks

If you look at the RadioReference wiki, http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/BC246T under supporting software, you can find a Tcl/Tk package that is cross platform and will run on linux. And no, it's not nearly as powerful as ARC246, but it should work. I haven't run ARTC246 under WINE, but I suggest looking into that option as well.

Great! Anything that works in Ubuntu will be fine.
from the reading, I see Ubuntu was one of the test
Distros so I think it will be just what I need...
