The bulk of the talkgroups on the TRS are in the clear and the few remaining conventional channels are also in the clear.

Do you have any public safety channels still in convential for West Point ? I'm reprogramming my portable and need to make some room.
thedssdoctor...I receive the West Point system pretty good coming down the T-way into Woodbury...I think its the Bull Pond site, can't remember if it's 101 or 202.

Well contrary to an earlier posting, I am getting talkgroup Ids with the 396 in western nassau with the frequencies posted for the p-25 system. I have about 7 ids and hear the voice transmissions semi in the clear from my location.

hey moonies...what type of antenna are you using ? The West Point tower travels good down the Hudson river, so it doesn't suprise me.
I was picking up Orange County EMS on the 718 repeater going over the Deleware Memorial bridge. Not bad for a 1/4 wave.

I was using the maldol ah-w100rx antenna. I cant get the system to decode past mineola ny but was impressed none the less.
