Hi I just purchased a scantenna and I already have rg-8 cable with pl-259 end is there any adapter to convert this to the f connector on the scantenna or is there an end that I can put on the rg-8 as you can see I am a newbie to scanning so if you can give me links to the parts that would be great

thankyou for the help

I'd just get a short length of coax with the appropriate connectors. It'll be hard trying to find an adapter to go from "F" to "SO-239." I didn't see any. You should be able to get a short coax jumper made at a local Radioshack.

Radio Shack has an adapter Catalog #: 278-258. I think this is what you're looking for.
