Once again guys, I'm hoping somebody can steer
me in the right direction here.
Explaination of my issue: No matter where I go (frequency,
band, etc.) I have the same spike in the center of the window.
Whether it be Lower end of VHF to the T-Band it is always
there. The waterfall shows a small trickle and it definitely
has some white noise to it.
Here is the video showing the issue:

Hoping someone can answer:
What is this?
Why is it here, there, and everywhere?
How do I get rid of it?

Typically that is an indication of small DC offset between I and Q signal or they are not balanced and set to the same level. One of the signals could be missing thru lack of a good connection. When missing a signal, usually strong signals are seen but move across the spectrum display oddly as you sweep the frequency control in one direction or the other.

I'm using an Airspy or SDRPlay RSP2 with the directly associated software for the devices. Neither have that problem so they address the issue at the hardware and/or software level without operator intervention.

I used Console V2 and V3 for a short time and don't recall how offset and balance are controlled. Complexity of user interface was similar to SDRUno so I dropped using it. Also, V3 was on the edge of maxing out my computers resources.

Good Luck,
Mike
