Cany anyon suggest a safe dedicated powered USB hub I can plug multiple SDR's in? I have tried several, powered externally and powered by the computer and the SDR's keep turning off from what I assume is under powered hubs. I have tried these hubs on different computers and get same result. I am usually using the SDR's for data only, not much voice for our different radio system across the central part of the state. I would like to power up to 4 but need enough space between to plug them in.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have not tried that but I can give it a shot. Either way, the ones I currently use dont have enough space for the new SDR;s I have so I'll be getting a new hub. Curious what others were using with luck. Ill look at Anker, thanks

Laptops can have problems to supply enough USB power but as it works and then stops working after a while it could be the energy saving feature not being turned off. It should be available in the control panels device handler. You should see all USB ports there and you click on each one and then on the tab for energy saving and turn that off. Do it for all USB ports you can find.
